Forever Young (55+)

 

Forever Young is the senior adult ministry of Grand Rapids First, designed to meet the spiritual and relational needs of seniors through fellowship, Bible studies and other activities.

 

We have several meetings a year. We try to do at least two "Old Fashioned" Hymn Sings a year. We do either a Thanksgiving/Christmas each year, a nice sit down dinner, with entertainment.  This usually takes place in the Prayer Chapel.  This year it is Decebmer 1, 2008. In February we usually have a "Candlelight Dinner" at McDonalds.  The Seniors love this, and we decorate, etc for the season. We will be trying to put together a trip for next year, but do not know what or if this this will transpire.
