Creative Arts Ministries 



Thank you for considering partnering with us in leading others into His presence.  As a member of this ministry, you would be asked to unite with us in our mission to tell the world about the good news of Jesus Christ.

 

Mission:  Bringing people to Christ and equipping them to be like Him.

Scripture:  Our heart’s desire to please God is our foundation (Psalm 27:4-8). We believe that individuals who possess the same heart’s desire will allow for the glory of God to be ushered in.

Purpose:  Through the praise and worship at Grand Rapids First Church a place of worship will be established in your heart to release a healing for the hurting, freedom for the captive, hope for the hopeless and setting at liberty those who have been crushed.

What does it take to join us? All it takes is a call to the Creative Arts Office. You can join us during our weekly rehearsal on Tuesdays at 7:00 pm in the Prayer Chapel.  When you arrive, our support team will give you information about the ministry and in a couple of weeks you will be ready to minister during our weekly worship service.

 

Tuesday Rehearsals

We value you and your time. It is our goal that your time with us is enjoyable as well as productive.  We endeavor not to keep you long.

 

6:30 – 8:30 pm        Choir & Band Rehearsal 
 

Sunday Services are at 9:00 am and 11:00 am
8:00 am – Band and Worship Team arrival time
8:10 am – Choir arrival time

8:15 am – Choir on the platform

 

Childcare Available

Childcare is available for children through age 11 beginning at 6:0 pm for Tuesday evening rehearsals (bring your children to entry D, which is the Nursery entrance). On Sundays, if you have nursery age children, please allow ample time to take them to the nursery and arrive in the Worship Center on time.
