Welcome to Kids First Nursery! Each week our dedicated team of volunteers and parents minister to the children. We provide a fun, loving and safe environment for children ages newborn through kindergarten. Children attend classes according to their age, enabling them to play and learn with their peers.

Wednesdays 6:00 & 7:15 pm

Vertical is the 6^th- 12^th grade student ministry of Grand Rapids First. Vertical helps each student connect with God at a deeper level and encourages them to become real leaders, reaching new heights of integrity. Vertical meets every Wednesday from 7:00 – 8:15 pm in the Student Life Center.

Fine Arts is a discipleship tool of the Assemblies of God National Youth Ministries designed to help students discover, develop and deploy their ministry gifts.

The Slate is our young adult ministry for ages 18-30. Join us each Thursday at 7:00 pm in the Student Life Center to experience a deeper relationship with God through worship and connect with other believers of the same age. The sports facility is open after service until 10:00 pm.

At the Grand Rapids Campus of Northpoint Bible College we do just one thing: equip the people of God for a lifetime of effective, world-changing ministry.

Pink Impact Women’s Ministry is fueled by the mission of Grand Rapids First… bringing women to Christ and equipping them to be like Him. Activies include: Free Zumba, SHOPS Mentorship program, PODS, trips and women's events.

The vision of Bluesteel is to forge the character and souls of men so that they are useful tools in the hands of God.  This process begins with a personal relationship with Jesus Christ and continues in the context of family relationships and friendships with other men.

Young at Heart is our senior adult ministry, designed to meet the spiritual needs and relational needs of our seniors.

Serving you, serving Christ… it's more than words printed on the back of our t-shirts…it's a lifestyle.  Whether it’s handing out water, wrapping gifts at the mall at Christmastime or volunteering our time with the public schools, we love to serve in our community. Through Servant Evangelism we can touch people in a way that says, "You’re precious to God, and He wants you to know it."

The Grand Rapids First church family has always been passionate about missions. That commitment has remained strong even through economically challenging times, allowing us to continue the support of 100 missionaries and ministries around the world and here at home.

Grand Rapids First Creative Arts is for anyone who is passionate about using their creativity to communicate the love of God to the world around us.

We have a multi-media lending library offering the latest in adult, youth and children’s fiction, along with many other topics for spiritual growth.  The library is located on the Worship Center mezzanine.  You can take either stairwell opposite Guest Services to reach the Library, or take the elevator near the circle drive entrance to level two.

The Porch Café is a warm, inviting place to enjoy something to eat and drink with friends.  Pastor Sam and Brenda meet with our first-time attenders in the Porch Café following every Sunday service.  If you're new at Grand Rapids First, drop by after the service. You'll be introduced to other new people and discover more about our many ministries.  We look forward to serving you soon!

The food services ministry serves at Wednesday Night Community Dinners, Catered Wedding Receptions and more.

We believe that in order to see the vision of Grand Rapids First realized and for the personal lives of believers to be all that God intended, the foundation must be prayer.  Whether through our One Thing Prayer group on Wednesdays, our Sunday morning prayer groups, the GAP prayer chain or other prayer events, there is a place for you.

A phone call, a hand-written note, a birthday card, a visit to share communion, read God’s Word or listen and pray … are just a few of the heart-touching ways we connect with our very special shut-ins.  Knowing they’re loved and cared for means so much!

Our goal is to provide a safe environment where Deaf and hard of hearing people can develop a life-long, mature relationship with Jesus Christ. We also strive for strong friendships between the Deaf and Hearing. The Sunday 11:00 a.m. service is interpreted for the Deaf.
